I need recommendations for a boat-friendly electric heater?

So I've seen options like ceramic, oil-filled, and traditional resistance heaters, but I'm not sure which is best in terms of efficiency and safety on a boat. What type would you recommend for reliable, safe heat on board? I'm looking to buy one to use while plugged in at a marina during colder weather

A friend of mine went with oil radiator mainly because of the fire risk. It's not scorching hot to the touch so the fire risk is gone. With that said, it does take a while to heat up and might need more than one depending on how warm you want it to be. He was considering ceramic for a while as they heat up really fast, but I think he dropped the idea due to the hazards with those.

Stick with oil filled, and make sure it has tip over protection and a thermostat, its perfect for marina use in cooler weather, ceramic heaters warm up faster but blow hot air, which can feel harsh and stir dust and standard resistance heaters work, but they get hot to the touch and are less ideal in tight quarters

Thanks for the insight, do you know if the slower heat of an oil radiator is manageable for a typical marina stay, or would multiple units be necessary to stay comfortable?

Thanks, that's really helpful... I'll look for an oil-filled heater with tip-over protection and a thermostat, it sounds like the safest, most comfortable option for marina use
