2000 Island Packet 380

A guy is offering me his 2000 Island Packet 380 for a very good price one that falls within my budget, but I'm not sure if it's something I'll need. He says it can do blue water and coastal adventures and will accommodate a family happily. Not sure if he's overselling it or that's really the case?
