Is there a chemical that can safely dissolve the mineral scale accumulation inside the hose that runs from the head to the overboard? This scale, as I understand it, is created when seawater and uric acid react. Any product reccommendations or tried-and-true fixes would be greatly appreciated

I don't know how stubborn that build-up is but I tried circulating diluted white vinegar through the hose and letting it sit for a while before flushing it well.
It did the trick for me!
But if you don't want the DIY route, there should available marine descalers at marine supply stores!

Vinegar or diluted muriatic acid can help dissolve mineral scale safely, but be careful with muriatic acid...use gloves and proper ventilation. Some marine descalers work well too, dont forget to rinse thoroughly after treatment!
